Messages on the Cypress Trees
The water marks on flooded cypress trees always have a story of times gone by......You can usually determine the normal water level by looking at the lowest green branches from the trees which will grow near the water line but not below.....

I hear you Carl....the presence of cypress trees is usually indicative of soil composition that bluegills like, I feel more confident fishing around them!
