I immediately think back to 1982 when I first reported to Charleston for submarine duty and found out I was about 40 miles from some great freshwater fishing......I always go to certain spots to see if they have changed any and the Santee Cooper lakes still seem the same which is a good thing......After all, this is where I caught my biggest gill ever.
