Caught him just outside St. Louis Missouri. August Busch (Member of Busch Beer Family) donated a bunch of land to the state, which has approximately 30 + lakes on it. It is now managed by the MO Dept. of Conservation. Each lake contains various species of fish.
Several of these lakes are stocked with Rainbow and a few Brown Trout each fall and winter. The cold weather we experienced this year had led to one of the best ice fishing seasons in several years.
Love catching Trout on my 24" ultra-lite ice rod combo. Too much fun! But hey there's days I trade you for the California fishing. Love the saltwater fishing too! Used to live in Long Beach CA.
