I've never done as well as I have on my local rivers Jim and most folks in Virginia fish the Suffolk Lakes instead of Lake Drummond. Water levels have been down the last couple years from fighting forest fires in the Dismal Swamp. The biggest impact is the high acidic levels from the thousands of acres of swamp water surrounding the lake. I've actually caught more fliers than any other sunfish in this lake. Lots of big Bowfin as well.
