No big red spotted sunfish this week. Try again next week.

Tim I can catch a fish of equal size and body if you wanna give the color a shot from this picture and no there was no trickery in this photo. Ive only caught one other that came close to the color. Full moon of this month I intend on heading into the back of black bayou to see if I can harness yet another. I said I would get it mounted if I ever did.

Damn... that's a beautiful sunfish,,, Odd colours. Is that a hybrid?

I don't think Mayo is into "fancy". I don't think anything is wrong with the fish either. It's a "Roll Tide" fish. Way to go little Auburn buddy! See how much more impressive this one is than them common ones with blue gills and orange breasts? Don't know what Mother Nature was thinkin' when she picked that color combo. Glad to see she finally got it right!

I think maybe I would have a Priest do an exorcism on it before I touched it!
Somethings really wrong with this fish or that's some fancy trick photography.

Think I might have thrown that one back, and hightailed it out of the area. Fish like that just don't seem natural, did you notice those eyes ? Is it drunk or is Diablo in play here ?
