Just Ahead Of The Strawberry Moon.......6/26/2018
The Creek I chose today had a slight "falling" wind tide behind an overnight cold front and this put the shallow gills into a frenzy........I was fortunate to have these fish fall right into my lap..........

Thanks LedHed..........don' t think the coppers are growing at the rate they are in the California lakes but I'm very pleased to be able to catch 10" class fish every time out and throw in an occasional 11" or greater fish and it's a healthy fishery.........

This particular spot is incredible.........I have only harvested small fish in the 5 to 7 inch class over the last four years and despite it being public I can tell the average gill is getting larger and it has been a blast to fish...................
