Caught my first trout through the ice this year...they do fight well!!

John...there is a small lake, 50 acres near my home that used to get trout stocked every winter. They stopped but are starting up again this year. We could keep 3 a day and many of them were nice like yours there. I miss that!

Ken its an old pic and only caught two through the ice in my life1 Both jigging though which is a thrill .They fight great in cold water ,far better than bass, gills etc

Getting a bit warmer here Carl and I hope it doesn't screw me up from taking a friend out to my Crappie Honey hole Monday. I hope he catches nice fish and offers me some firewood from his property!  If it works out tha way I'll be real pleased . The hat was inspired by Gord Pyzer.

ice fishing is kind of bust for me so far... ice is now too thick for my hand auger. if i can t drill a few holes than its not worth it for me.

that;s a nice " bow--  and the hat;s not to bad;; probably ok for that kind of weather!!  but a warm fire place-- hot cocoa -- ball game on tv is good to!!  LOL!!
