This is actually a chain Pickerel not a grass pickerel

Bruce there is also a red fin Pickerel that's rarer then these plentiful Grass Pickerel.I think I 've seen one Red Fin Pickerel in my Life and one Warmoth.

In Wisconsin I think they call Walleyes Pickerel...but not sure.

That's one of the fish on my bucket list. I'd love to catch one someday. They're really neat lookin' fish.

Esox americanus vermiculatus ...Small Pickerel took a fathead minnow on a tip up
