Bruce is correct, it is indeed a wide-angle lens, however it's not a fish-eye lens, nor above standard wide-angle. I, much like Bruce C., have learned how to hold fish, I had to with my ape-like arms and giant hands. Like I told a guy who tried giving me a hard time last week.... why would I make my fish look smaller? ;)

You guys might not know this, but Matthew here actually has a cuff-length on his right arm of 5 feet, 7 inches. His left arm is normal, hence, he always holds his fish with his right arm.

Just kiddin'! Ha-Ha!

Actually, this photo is way cool, and I was going to give and estimate of 26 lbs. and 10 ounces for this fish. But at 10.5 inches, that would be quite a stretch.

How are you holding the fish, I do not see any hands or anything?

Wide angle lens.  ( or wid-ER ) anyway.  Pictures can be fun when you're playing with perspective. :-)

Why does that fish look way to large for the pic?
