Too funny Mike. Upside down works - really well for gut hooks. Think the fish we catch might be tired because of the 2lb test and ultra light rods...

Forgot to mention take the shots over a net.

Hey Mike, hold em upside down while you unhook them. This time on their back calms them down, and if you're quick when you turn them over, they'll be still for a pic.

I was holding one in my hand (while in the kayak)trying to get a similiar shot.......well it jumped out of my hand & right back in the water..Ha.LedHed is the gill whisperer.

Don't think it's magic. Lay in my hand till they calm down - then hold them up for the shot.

These fish are really plump too - getting ready for winter.
