Thank you guys!! It sure was a great fight trying to get those spinning demons through all that thick stuff!! we did lose a couple because of the weeds but that is alright the risk is worth the reward. We were casting slip bobbers right up inside the weeds, I had one of Dick's jigs on the end of my line tipped with a small chunk of night crawler. another technique we were using was a small jig tipped with half of a leech jigging it over the side of the boat in tall standing weeds that touched the surface. just bouncing the jig in between the weeds was enough to entice them to come up and have a snack.  thanks again guys
