Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Caught these today while drop-shoting worms and Gulp maggots on a #10 Salmon egg hook. Could have caught more but ran out of worms. Super simple rig to catch fish when the water cools.

Ken they were chartreuse. They have been I my tackle box for years and I never had any luck with them till now. I used them in combo with about 1/2 of a small earthworm. They would bite either but seemed to like them better together. Take what you want from that.

Thanks guys they were delicious. The largest was 8.5 inches. The wind was blowing 25 mph but it didn't matter to the fish they were hitting it hard.
