I caught the gills at the same depth. Not sure if all the commotion from the gills got the trouts attention?
Want to fish a couple other places, but the ice is still a little sketchy in spots. Was bitterly cold - then warmed up. Forecast is for low temps in the teens & highs in the 20's - 30 for the next 3-4 days. Hopefully it will get a little thicker.

Greg, is the gill from the same depth as the trout? Don't blame you I would throw the trout back also!!!!!
