Jim this one fell to my smaller dragonfly nymph about 1 year ago. The smaller nymph I caught it on is in my photo's and about a half in long. This fish was a surprise and an absolute blast to catch on my 2wt fly rod. The larger nymph I just posted today is just a larger version of the dragonfly nymph about 1 inch. I told Tooty I was making a larger version this fall and the one you saw was it.

Carl how right you are what a blast. Hoping to do better this year with them with new line and leader and tippets and off coarse my casting.

Jim the funny thing is the line had so many knots in it I was worried it would break off too. This was the 1st of 6 that broke off for some reason or another.

Thanks John. Caught this late last fall I can tell you it was the most enjoyable catch to date on my 2wt. Lost about a half dozen before I finally caught this one.
