Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Bought some Lindy Darters. The small ones about 1 1/4 inch and the larger just under 2 inches. Want to try them under the ice this year.

I can see a very little difference between the 2 the price being the biggest. Thanks for showing the comparisons Ken.

Visual comparison between Lindy Darter (list $6.49) and Salmos Chubby Minnow (list $8.49)

Lindy Darter has a rattle.

I would think that's a safe bet we don't want to loose a 6 dollars lure because you using inadequate line we know how them Bass and Toothies love cranks.

Thanks for checking. I also think they are close in size and appearance.

So these little expensive jigging lures will not see 2 lb test .... braid only... lol

Found a 1.3" scd and lindy darter... very close in design. scouring a clearance bin I only found one small scd.

I'm hoping I will get a chance to get out and try them and see for myself. If I do get to go I will be ready for both scenarios.

Guys pushing these baits swear their killers without bait Dick ,but I know that means active fish excited by feeding and catching in the area with bait lol!
