Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This is one of my Crappie holes with deep water adjacent to all this cover.....I'll work live minnows around all the downed trees....This place is packed with bluegill in the Spring through the Fall..............

The top of this tree fell off in ten feet of water and probably has 25 of my baits and hooks...fills up with staging fish every year.....I like to anchor and fish that big pine that dropped near the shoreline simultaneously also....

This river is not impacted by tides just prevailing North and South winds.......This particular spot is very good when it's dumping into the main river but 90% of the time there is little to no movement......the cover and the water depth is the important factors here.......Many of the fallen trees have landed in 10-12 feet of water which sucks up those early staging fish.....

This place is just beautiful. How fast does the water flow......if much at all?
