Couldn't find a spot to get out of the shifty North/Northeast winds which had emptied creeks overnight.......not a good thing around here when you're looking for a shallow bite........decided yesterday I wasn't going to fish deep today which was a mistake overall.......

Late March/Early Spring often brings some rough boat rides to get to some of my more isolated out of the way locations....it takes will power to work through these tough conditions and a good suit to stay dry..........

March can still bring tough windy conditions on the Albemarle which can take a toll on fish wanting to go shallow.......crap shoot early spring............this is 9 miles south of downtown E. City charging through choppy seas going southeast........
