Had to go Micro in the stained 39 Degree Basin Temps
Had 1/3" skim ice in this hole last weekend but rainfall and moderate air temps cleared that up.........gills were right where I predicted they would be.....hugging the slope on a deep drop off............

I'm planning on hitting this creek on Monday.........exactly one year ago on the 18th the water temps were about 10 to 12 degrees colder.........the trip wire is right around 44 to 46 degrees when the fish will traditionally pile up in these scarce deep pockets or basins as I call them..........this one has a very steep slope and the gills always show up there...........
