Do you love big bluegill?

not only did I get a glass rod from tooty;; also got these today from Steve!!

     Carl...........use a piece of mono....tie overhand knot with 14 loops through it.....pull down  till knot is about 1/2"  long.......lube knot...... use pliers / needlenose on both ends and pull tight......clip one end close......clip other end with about a 1/4 inch tag left.....use tip of needlenose touching knot and hold flame close to tip of mono......it will melt back into the ball..... ta da !!...that's it

       I usually get 14 wraps on 20# mono (like the red and orange) and 8 wraps on 40# mono (green bodies)..... your mileage will vary.

       Someone (Ande ?) used to make a brown mono that would be interesting to try.

if I am right;; those multi colored little wagles are mono fishing line;; tied to make them look a bit different
