I've the pleasure of fishing a private pond and have once fished a private lake.
Really great fishing in those spots. You are indeed fortunate.

David, these are from a private lake.  We keep just a few once in a while for the skillet and release the big ones.  This lake has a very good balance of gills, cats, crappie and bass.  Fortunate to have a friend who lives on it and invites me to fish.
