Hopper Hex
Hook 10 dryfly to 10 3x long
tail duck flank (orange, dyed woodduck, olive dyed flank)
Body angora goat dubbing on a dubbing loop. Mix of 2parts golden olive to 1 part hot orange.
Wing same as tail
Hackle orange saddle
Weight is optional usually 5 to 6 wraps of lead or lead free wire.
You can change the colors of all ingrediants toget the hopper of your choice. Supposed to represent a drowned grass hopper, or hexagina nymph.
