Undisturbed Black Crappie in Today’s Creek……5/22/2024
With 71.8 degree surface temperatures it was no surprise that the crappie fed on a falling wind tide around structure in four feet of water….I was using adult live crickets on a popeye jig and they pounded it……caught 14 total crappie today

You get a great representation of our black tannic waters by looking at the water in this photo.....and this is when I'm most confident fishing here is when it becomes tar black......
