Thanks Jen Master AND WILL BE REALLY INTERESTED TO SEE WHAT YOU COME UP WITH! The new age chenille has been in my supply box for several years and tomorrow hopefully I'll put up a crappie getter surpremeo!!!!!!!!!! Time will tell and its going to be tied on a long shank #8 I suppose . That size to start with anyway. WON't be much different than the current things , CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME HE HUNG ON EM, but much larger and longer!

Tooty...The crappie bite is starting & several on here have talked of blue for their color. I've had good luck with a sort of minnow pattern so I'm thinking of incorporating blue with flashabou.....still thinking

Yup Jeffrey and that is the only problem with my system of fishing is when I remove the split shots late in the season and very early in the season I tend to miss the soft bites, and if you catch a 100 anyway it does'nt really matter . On tough days it makes a difference though.

Yup ya just never know Jeffrey cause the last time out the bite was really soft here and almost non detectable.

What surprised me today in the cooler conditions was the aggressive bites......this is a big lure for this fish but he smashed it....

Just noticed it but look at the size of the eye on this thing! Looks like the eye off a GIANT SQUID OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!
