Heck i would be happy to just pull one out of the small 1/4 pond I have.  I would think they would be cornered in there where I could get one, but have yet to see them.

 

Hope they are still alive.

thanks troy!  we found a school of them staged prespawn and wound up with 8 all over 2 lbs..i"ll post some more pics later...i wouldnt charge for a trip, just bring the bud light and we're good!!

One more note, these things will ruin you, I've caught them up to 12.5 inches and they blow bluegill away. I've become a shellcracker fisherman exclusively, I don't even suspend a cork anymore, on bottom baby.

That's a good lookin redear, I'm amazed at how big they get in that Savanahh River system. It must be the perfect ingredients for growing large shellcrackers. You're a lucky man Kelly, I'd pay you money to take me out fishing for those. You oughta think about shellcracker guiding...I'm serious.
