WELL VINCE I GUESS YOU PROVED IT'S NOT FISHED OUT YET!!!!!!!!!! GO GET EM..........
Thanks Tooty. This was from one of the local "fished out" pay lakes. It costs a buck to fish, and if the owner isn't home, a mason jar is on the porch for your money. It is a clear lake, and like it is in a lot of them, the fish are spooky. 4lb test clear mono, fine wire bronze hooks, a split shot 12-18" above the hook, coupled with long casts, and fishing on the bottom is the way to go here.
NICE PIC VINCE AND a real nice gill to boot!
What a nice fish to break it in on, good job.
Vince,
I am sorry your having health issues, I am glad you are still able to bank fish. I hope you get better so you can get in a tube again. My wife says I am to obsessive about fishing, so I am going to go only once a week, instead of 2-3 times a week.
So are you using the rings, or did you tape up the reel??? I am also very impressed with my esp rod. God bless!!
Dilly
Nice on the lake pic and its good to hear you are enjoying your new rod.
Nice fish Vince! Beautiful setting also.
David,
I have a float tube and use to fish out of it a lot. Right now I am having some health issues, and cannot use it. I once lived in northern Missouri where the majority of the farms had ponds, and had a ball catching gills from my tube. That ESP rod really is the most sensitive rod I have ever used. I love it!
Vince
Great to see the esp rod is working for you. That added sensitivity is a plus. Have you ever fished out of a float tube. I know I have a lot of fun fishing out of mine. They are not to expensive. I am glad you are happy with the rod.
Dilly
The new rod did well today.
