Fly-weight Hula
These are killers for bass and big Green Sunfish just can't leave it alone. Spinner bait skirt for the tail. The hook is a weedless bait-holder type made for bass fishing. This fly is nearly indestructable.

John- I have a stout 6 weight (fast tip action) that these do well with. If I remember right it is a 9ft rod. I have a shortened 7 weight WFF line for it. I admit that the fly doesen't really allow a "delicate" presentation but it IS a hula popper. A splashy touchdown is part of it's charm.
