That is a great boat for the kind of fishing that most of us do and a Merc 8HP shoud push it along just fine . You shouldnt have any problem putting and aeration system on the live well in the middle seat if you wanted to . I fish from an Alumacraft crappie jon 14' with a 6HP Nissan and find it a joy to use for gills or crappies and the occaisonal bass . Hope you had a great fathers day .

Happy Father's Day Jason.......did you get out a little while today? Strong southwest wind today.......we had four foot wave heights at the five legged buoy this afternoon on the Pasquotank......
