These are freshwater reds stocked into 2 of our power plant lakes.So your probaly right about them coming from a hatchery,some of these fish have up to 6 spots.Oh and it was a wonderful meal:)

Leo, from what I understand, a "wild" Red Drum with have one spot, on it's tail. A fish with more spots is usually a stocked fish from a hatchery.
Now that's a wonderful meal to sink your teeth into. Curious. Are those spots on the fish natural for this species in your water? This the first I've seen of the spotting like that.
