Do you love big bluegill?
Found a stash of rubber tails in one of my drawers and thought I would play around with some patterns. They are all tied on #8 J Stockard 235 nymph hook. First add the the bead/cone wrap hook tie in rubber tail then either estaz tied in at the tail and wrapped forward and tied, or weight with wraps of lead wire then chenille and hackle tied in at the tail and wrapped forward like in a wooly bugger.

GOOD JOB, MARK!!!!!! I think YOU and JEN are AWESOME TYERS!!!!!!
Nice looking baits Mark.....should catch some gills in the Blackwaters.....
mark, try lure parts online site, swimtail trailers are a similar product
i have a few of them myself, just the tails.the ones i have would be more for bass ,bigger size than youss mark, try waspi or jann's maybe.i think they are silicone .i think you can get sheets of the material for making spinnerbait skirts
I tied the one upper right (with cone head) and used it Thursday they smashed it! Caught two on 3 cast and then broke off! I fished on my 5 wt with floating line but used flourocarbon leader which helps a little as it sinks. The bites came on the fall at about two feet deep/. Only one issue I don't know where I can buy more rubber tails!
