...i just had a recent outing on the ice... the fish refused the live waxies while the Pink Waxies just pounded them... the bait amazes me

As often is the case in the winter the demand for crickets decreases thus most bait shops suspend carrying them until spring returns..........our inventory was down around 50 live crickets so I began with pink waxies and had very good results in the flier hole........matching Joe's catch rate and even adding a crappie and a small largemouth.............it has been my preference to carry several jars of pink waxies with me as a back-up .............good security blanket when you cover the miles I do on the Albemarle..........good luck!
