You need that here with the sun and heat. I don't know what kind of strain of bass are here, we have always been told that they are just Large Mouth. He put up quite a fight on my fly rod. I released him after the photo.

Interesting bass Mathew. Markings of a largemouth but kinda hard to tell how far the mouth comes back maybe a spotted do you know what strains of bass are in your region.

I was surprised to hook him, I was fishing shallow water for BG with a small fly when he grabbed the nymph. Not that I am complaining!
