Nice one Jen. Float tube not an option for me as they're a couple of gators in my fishin' hole.  Always liked the idea of portability of tubes and figured it made you fish an area more thorough since they're not speedy.

Nice redear I'll bet that was fun on that fly rod. Do you net your fish or lip them.

It's my "go to" fly and the one I've caught the most BBG/Redear on.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY JEN, and nope you probably won't get rid of that fever you have aquired. By the way I love the look of your flys and will probably imitate that simple one, the NAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEE , IF YOU DON'T MIND!

I was taught by a friend I've known for over 40 years.  I learned on a 5wt but my rod of every day choice is now an 8'6" 2wt.  After a couple years of flyrodding I was introduced to fishing from a float tube....sure a lot easier on the back!  Then a couple years ago I started tying my own flies. Yep I got the fever and have never gotten rid of it.

HEY JEN,

Looks like you may have mastered the graft of flyroddin!!! Who taught you how to use one?
I suppose you need a longer one for use in the tube ,right? I"m almost too old to get into one of those tubes now , but it sure looks like fun.
