Years ago this canal was used to transport cypress logs from the coastal marsh......the railroad cars would be loaded similar to log transport trucks that you see today.....Not visible is the scores of sunken logs that remain and were never taken.....Big Shellcrackers really like to hang on these log beds and the Colorful Perch I featured all week love to attach to wood in any form as well........
