Creeks Are Coming To Life....4/6/2015
An amazing two hours on the water late today after work....surface temps at 66 and water at pool stage to a little high......crappie caught at one to two feet under a float in shallow cover......took 31 Crappie and most were 12 to 13 inch sows......kept 15 for the pan and released the big girls..........crazy fun...........pink and chartreuse jigs tipped with live grass shrimp was killer.......

Thanks guys......I lay awake at night in the winter dreaming about days like this......what's nice is the different creeks will often peak at different points in time over the next couple weeks so it kind of indirectly extends a real good thing............I fished until I couldn't see the float anymore and the fish were still biting last night......Clean fish today and restock grass shrimp then I'll be ready to go again later in the week...........
