Great job in using those noodles, and your noodle. LOL I did exactly the same thing with my 8 rods in the garage.

The thing in front is 4-rod carrier, made out if the same foam.
Holes cut for the butts, slots for the rod and the two pieces attached on either end of a
1x2 using urethane glue. I added a carry handle, salvaged from somewhere....
