Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I had a few fish bigger today but this one was my favorite....Great Coppernose qualities and just a Linebacker! The tip of my light action pole was down by the reel all afternoon....I actually used the landing net on this fish after he made a couple passes near the surface.....# 6 Eagle Claw Circle Hook is deadly!

I appreciate that David.....Years of experience in a state that has a lot to offer a Bluegill Angler....One more trip tomorrow afternoon and Sweet Home North Carolina...Man I'm excited to get back on my home fish but South Carolina represents well and I'll always wet a line in the Low Country every chance I get........

My favorite Coppernose of today's catch......This guy was zipping drag off the reel with it cranked down pretty tight.......Just a fish with a lot of torque and power....He too is alive and well back in Lake Moultrie.....
