Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

My son's house is on a neighborhood pond that gets a lot of fishing pressure. But I don't believe anyone there fishes a fly rod. I caught red-ear, copper-head gills, regular bluegills and a bunch of small bass as well as one 4lb and one that looked to be a good 6lb +. (camera batteries gave out with no picture 'or proof ' of the big boy). All fish caught on top water froggy top and sand colored bottom foam spider. One of his neighbors told me they have never seen that many fish caught in one hour. I told the man he needs to learn how to fish a fly-rod. I love it when a plan comes together..........Don.

Nice Don....Summerville is where I got married......outside in Azalea Park.......looks like the Sangaree area but I wouldn't swear to it......

If you look at the front of the dorsal fin, you will see something tried to eat this fish.
