I gotta admire your go-to-it-iveness, though. Using the pet birds feathers for jig tying is sublime.

David ,sorry didnt mean to be cryptic .Jesse is my wife's African Gray parrot that donates Red tail feathers and gray wing feathers to me .

Seriously, I like to use jigs below slip floats. Especially those jigs that have enticing tail action to go along with the live bait.
