The Shenendoah River has some beautiful turquoise finned RBS!

Excellent Jeff. I usually catch them in the Wanaque River Headwaters from the Greenwood Lake Dam. I'm sure having fun through the Years with the flyrod and either Burke Plastics or Dick Tabbert's great Ants and Crickets he kindly sent me. My biggest RBS though came from Greenwood Lake and the Monksville Reservoir where the Wanaque River passes through again.

Thanks John….I appreciate every RBS I catch…….Growing up in Louisiana I only caught them in one river ……but once I joined the Navy and got stationed in South Carolina……I discovered the Edisto River and the rest is history……fast forward to now and North Carolina Wildlife has been stocking them into many rivers and we’re excited that they are doing well…..this fish is a result of stocking/protection…..
