I know I am delinquent in sharing my June 22 float fly fishing day on the Rio Grande. This 16" brown trout is the only one of any size actually landed. A vigorous strike earlier had a larger one hooked (I think) but it got tangled in some shoreline brush and we had to break it off. The fish had gone upstream and the drift boat was going downstream. I was down to the backing and just had to snap the leader. I caught several small browns, too. All were released immediately. It was an all-day drift covering about 15 miles of the Rio Grande from just above South Fork to a County road where there was a State launching/take out site. It was a great trip and I now know what it feels like! I would recommend Creede Anglers, Inc. to anyone.
