Short sleeves mid March a couple years ago.........we are well on our way in 2016.........should catch some tuxedo crappie very soon!
Be careful Mark.......it appears that this winter has challenged even the folks that are "use" to it!
nice Jeffrey, I wish ,I just put a 6 and a 1/2 foot 666 john deere blower on the back of my 870 4X4 diesel tractor because we have so much snow, I have piles in my yard 6 to 9 ft high that I pushed up with a quick switch plow on my loader.cant wait to be fishing like that thanks for the post
Short sleeves on the second weekend of MARCH 2014 so I will remain optimistic......where have I seen that word around here! LOL
The Black Crappie put their tuxedos on in coastal North Carolina in early March.........fun year!
Thanks Mike.......this class of fish is a challenge on my bream busters but I enjoy it.....I don't try to swing big fish like these.......I got a big handle on my net so I can swim them in and pick em' up that way so they don't tear off.......
Those are nice......
They did just fine...I caught a small Bowfin today on one of Carl's rascals......they are constructed with a similar hook and it did fine.......I tipped with a small live minnow in two to three feet of water......
HOW'D THE HOOKS HOLD UP JEFFREY? I guess the true test will be the bowfins .....
Caught these on a minnow tipped #6 Cotton Candy.......tough windy adventure.......quit early under rough conditions....
