On a silver minnow jig - how about that. Bet THAT was a surpise.... fishing for papermouth and hooked a log!
The shirt sleeves and background shrubbery suggest you live a Southern clime, Mr. Mitchell. Where would that be?

Caught with silver minnow while jigging for crappie. You can see the hole in the grass just to the right of his tail. Great fight on 8lb test.
