The interesting thing to me is that the Wildlife Resources Commission believes our local coppernose need just three to four years to reach 10 inch class........I love to hear we have growth rates like that.......the round dynamics are always very eye catching..........this fish was already over a pound and quickly released to carry on.........hope we cross paths again!
haven't seen a plate shaped gill like that in years jeffrey.they used to be fairly commonbig sunfish around here now are mostly hybrids
