Thanks for the encouragement, guys!  We probably caught between fifty and sixty bluegill in just a couple hours of fishing for them (after we fished for bass) - a cast without a fish was the exception.  All were released, though it could probably stand to have a few of the smaller ones harvested.  Should be a pretty good pond in another year.

We caught mostly males today, and they were a handsome bunch of fish!  All but a couple of the males looked young with great coloration, and they were thick.

That fish is flat-out gorgeous. For a dude, anyway.
