1. Foam Bi-Layer Beetle
2. Hewitt Skater
3. Buck Tail Bullet Head
Spitting rain and variable wind hampered the effort. A few fish cooperated... Gill cracker with BT Bullet Head in mouth.
Lost: all three bugs, sacrificed to the Angling Gods.

I said the same thing as I was unhooking him, Dick. I could see the strike, and he didn't waste time.
He came flashing up from the shelter of the weed line and nailed this little fly.
I actually got quite a bit of attention on this deer hair bug, with several solid strikes and one lost hook up. Then the fly got hung up on a twig and snatched off.
But I've tied more. Fly tying is a great hobby, ain't it?!
