Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

All have been catching Pickerel in August this Year 2023.The Spinnerbait and the spoons grabbed some Bass also . 4" Grubs for Spinnerbait trailers, 3" Grubs for Hair Jigs,2,3/4" Hellgrammite for Squirrel Tail Slider Jig, Perch and Shiner Spoon Patterns and 6" long /thin ,3" Fat deep lipped crankbaits.

I have always over purchased lures/baits that I gained confidence in along the way…….certainly there has been many advancements in technology but once you have a bait that works you want to have them available……I will keep an eye out for the old Charlie Brewers in my area John…….

Yeah Jeff, the Charlie Brewer Slider Jigs available aren't the one I have pictured here. I got my last one bit off by a Pickerel.

Nice mix of old school baits….I haven’t seen a flat underside jig in a long time John…..

Anyone recognize that old Charlie Brewer flat underside Jig ? I am out of those old 80's Style Jigs and cant seem to find them .
