When my Dad was still in the US Navy, and we lived in Norfolk, VA, we always stopped at Hardees for Steak Biscuits before going fishing.
I was highly upset when Hardees stopped carrying the steak biscuit here in OK. Then they became "Carl's Jr.".......

I dont recall my dad taking us anywhere special, but for me and my son its also Hardees. I had my first Hardees steak biscuit almost 25 years ago - and I still love em.
