Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

What a great fish....my best gill today was 11.1 inches and he had a bright Copper brow! Pink jig with a white skirt.....I'll add a picture later because this bait was a stick of dynamite today......

Exactly David.....actually a few rain drops were refreshing as temperatures reached near 90 yesterday......Made for a choppy ride home because of some gusty winds.........but I went by Taylor's Beach and took a swim on the way home..........

Thanks Bruce.....I'm fortunate to be able to go fishing and even more fortunate to go in the great rivers of North Carolina........I'm also lucky, because every good angler counts on a little good luck as well........I almost changed my mind about where I was going to fish today, ...Lucky for Eric and I, that didn't happen!

He had some blue and green, but not as distinct as the Lake Perris Coppernose! He was pretty in his own right.....What a great day....Thanks for working the net Eric.......
