Thanks Ben....a lot of folks kill these fish when they catch them but in my opinion they are part of the balance in these brackish waters.......we caught two Bowfin today and just under a hundred gills so the balance is right....I enjoy the battles as I have even caught them up to eight pounds on a telescopic pole........
