One of my favorite rods is a TFO Pro 8' 2wt with an Orvis Battenkill (click) reel. I also have a TFO Lefty Special 7'6" 3wt with a Redington Drift I like a lot.

I liked it so much in fact. I may purchase a 3wt TFO 7'6" and a higher quality reel like the white river kingfisher version.

It was quite windy off and on here too, but I made do. Carl the new TFO was amazing once I figured out why my fly line was looping in the middle of rod. Helps if put the line through all the guides. Haha. Soon after I could shoot line 20-30ft easily. Bluegill felt good fighting them, still had enough control to muscle them when needed.
